Tomasz Marczynski

Tomasz Marczynski from Poland may be counted amongst the top riders of his country after winning the Polish national title on the road and time trial in 2011. Even without a champion’s jersey, the Vacansoleil- DCM sports directors would have noticed him in the Tour of Poland. Marczynski also had the spotlight on him because he frequently was in a breakaway. This fits in with his new team’s strategy of racing offensively, as they know that this runner does not shy away from a share of leading work. For this rider the move to this team is a great opportunity to show himself on an even bigger stage after being successful, in particular, in Polish and Asian races so far.
