Pim Ligthart

Together with the team management, Pim Ligthart chose two moments in 2011 to really go for the win: The Hel van Mergelland and the Dutch Championship in Ootmarsum. He actually succeeded in both races, which once more showed his ability to stay cool and grab the right moment to strike mercilessly. When it comes to a breakaway sprint after a tough race, the Dutch National Road Race Champion is hard to beat. In 2011, Ligthart participated in his first Tour of Spain and in the final stage of this race he even finished in 6th place.
