Bert-Jan Lindeman

This modest guy from the Dutch province of Drenthe is doing well with his new employer, where many talented strong riders have taken their chance in the past. Bert-Jan Lindeman had his breakthrough as a talented rider when he won the Ster van Zwolle in 2010. This year he managed to win another three national races, two of them belonging to the Dutch National Federation Cup for riders under 23: Hel van Voerendaal and the Heuvelenomloop Hellendoorn. With the national team, he was able to maintain strength on many occasions in an international field. With these results Lindeman earned a spot in the Dutch National Team at the World Championship. As a trainee with Vacansoleil-DCM, he also showed his ability to perform at the highest level. He was fifth in the third stage of the Tour of Denmark.
