Wesley Kreder

Some riders perform better as a pro than as an amateur or Under-23. Whether Kreder is that kind of rider is yet to be proven, but the first signs were there. He was given a traineeship with Vacansoleil DCM on the basis of character and potential, after which he managed to frequently ride himself far enough ahead to warrant binoculars. A reward followed in the Tour de Vendée and a pro contract. A rider who submits to the interests of the team, is able to win races, and always wants to ride is the dream of every team leader. Even though cycling is not about dreams but reality, Kreder will always continue to make a contribution.
