Maurits Lammertink

22-year-old Maurits Lammertink caused a sensation in spring 2012. In just over a fortnight, he managed to win four races, and an agreed trainee contract was converted into an early pro contract. In the footsteps of Pim Ligthart and Bert-Jan Lindeman, Lammertink won the Hel van Voerendaal and among the Under-23s it will become more prestigious to join this honorary list. The climber was troubled by his knee from the summer onwards, and was therefore not able to reach optimal performance in the pro peloton. With his qualities as a climber and his young age, a wonderful challenge awaits him at WorldTour level, and the team is proud to have him in their ranks.
