Martin Mortensen

After a year of service in Luxembourg, Martin Mortensen joins the Vacansoleil- DCM Team again. Due to numerous setbacks last year, the Dane was not able to pursue the upward trend that he had begun in 2010. This is something he now certainly wants to establish back in the old nest, all be it with one year of delay. A positive peak of last year was at the Danish championship, in which Mortensen won the silver medal in the road race. This rider is in his element when it comes to time trials and the classic races. He also comes into his own on a hilly circuit. Mortensen is known within the team as a rider who wants to attack in every type of race, thus creating opportunities for himself, but very often for the team as well.
