Kenny van Hummel

This rider belongs to the sprinters club and each year he is good for a beautiful series of victories and places of honour both at home and abroad. Van Hummel and his team mates needed his first year with Vacansoleil DCM to get used to each other. His efforts in the bunch sprint and collaboration with trainer Marc Lambers will have to start bearing fruits in his second year with the team. The cheerful man who wears his heart on his sleeve also plays an important role in guarding team spirit and task awareness. Van Hummel is already present at the Tour Down Under and he will be able to ascertain whether progress has been made, under the guidance of former top sprinter Jean-Paul van Poppel.
