José Rujano

30-year-old Rujano from Venezuala is new to the team. A busy WorldTour programme demands a lot from climbing specialist riders , and that is something this little climber is able to do. In 2011 he won two stages in a very challenging Giro d’Italia and ended sixth in the general classification. The smiley father-of-two with a third on the way immediately felt at home between the lanky Dutchmen and Belgians. After he worked together with sports director Hilaire Van Der Schueren, the challenge now awaits to get him ready for a new Tour of Italy and season in the WorldTour.
