Frederik Veuchelen

The 33-year old Frederik Veuchelen has been riding for this team since 2009. This guy from Flanders won Dwars door Vlaanderen in 2006 but usually makes his strengths available to the leading men of the team. Appreciation of this was shown by the fact that Veuchelen has been contracted by the team till the end of 2013. This strong rider from the province of Vlaams-Brabant knows the courses through and through, never feels too good to roll up his sleeves and can be up there until deep into the final to push the leading men and to launch the sprinters. So he is a real team player who, in a team with a lot of young talent, can take on the role of mentor. He is also a rider who is a role model with regard to commitment and experience for the up-and-coming youth.
