Frederik Veuchelen

33-year-old Frederik Veuchelen has been riding for this team since 2009. The man from Flanders won Dwars door Vlaanderen in 2006, and last year he won the mountain jersey in Paris-Nice, but he usually puts his strengths in service of the leaders of the team. The strong rider from the Flemish province of Brabant knows the races through and through and is always willing to roll up his sleeves, and can keep going until deep into the final, to drop off leaders or to launch sprinters. In other words, a real team player who can take on the role of mentor, in a team full of young talent. A rider the young up and coming riders would do well do emulate.
