Dutch team fulfills demands for license.

2013 will be the third in a row for Vacansoleil-DCM to be a WorldTour team. Following last week’s announcement on the sporting criterion today it was announced that the team also fulfills the administrative, ethic and financial criteria. Team manager Luijkx saw an easy registration: “In 2011 we applied for our first WorldTour license and we got it for three seasons. The yearly review keeps the teams focused and it is again a confirmation for us that we did a good job.”



By the end of the license needs to be renewed: “2012 showed us several times that we are worth our spot in the WorldTour and we want to move on from this in 2013. By the end of 2010 we agreed on sponsorships until the end of 2013 with the intention to move on from there, this intention is still there. Currently we are busy talking to current and potential sponsors on the options we have as per 2014,” concludes Luijkx.
