The Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team were strong in the GP Plouay

The leading group were caught up in the final kilometres.

The leading group were caught up in the final kilometres.

Matthew Goss won the sprint of 64 riders in Plouay. Although the race began slowly it ended in an exciting finish in the final lap.
Two Vacansoleil riders were in the leading group that dominated the final lap. Wout Poels and Björn Leukemans proved they are in good shape by riding in the front group with six other riders. However, they were soon caught up by the peloton with 5km remaining which was followed by a sprint. Marco Marcato finished in ninth place and Romain Feilu tenth in the sprint that was won by Goss.
