Tony Marin won the general classification

The Eneco Tour ended after eight days with an individual time trial in and around Genk covering a distance of nearly 17km. German rider Martin was the fastest winning both the time trail and the general classification.

The Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team did not finish at the top. Sports director Hilaire Van Der Schueren says, “our time trail riders Jens Mouris and Lieuwe Westra were sick earlier on in the week. Although their performances were affected which showed in the classification the other riders worked well making plenty of attacks. In addition, our sprinter Bozic is improving every day.”
