Oezbeek comes ninth in stage 4.
The fifth stage of the Tour Down Under has a tough final with only 48 runners left. Sergey Lagutin rode well for Vacansoleil-DCM and joined the front group. De Oezbeek is 15th at 12 seconds behind leader Kohler.
Thomas De Gendt, fourth in the classification, came from a bad position and attempted to get to the front of the race with six runners. Unfortunately he didn't succeed and the Flemish guy completed the race with the big platoon, almost 8 minutes over the finish . One of the breakaways of the day took the mountain jersey from De Gendt: I came too late today, but I don't think I have the legs to go with the platoon tomorrow. There are still two great days for our team with opportunities for Lagutin and the sprinters.
